THE EARTH EXUVIATION
An epidemic disease calls SHED20 has spread across the globe. This virus so deathly that, there are 1.5 billion infections, more than 900 million deaths, and only 9 thousand survivors. SHED20 originated from a slum in Mumbai, India.
SHED20 kills all cells in a body. When a person got infected:
Stage 1: symptoms such as a light fever starts after 24 hours, and rashes would appear on the patient’s skin after 48 hours. They then start to ‘recover’ on day 4.
Stage 2: the digestive system of the infected person starts to show symptoms, patients will experience anorexia after day 5. On day 7, they will start vomiting blood and day 8 is when the patient’s digestive system begins to collapse.
Stage 3: the person’s skin appears to peel off on day 9 since SHED20 has infected the skin, and after that, bruises will appear 15 to 24 hours after.
Stage 4: day 10, this is the worst nightmare for any patients when gangrene are starting to occur. On day 11 the patients’ lung’s function would begin to collapse, and on day 12, this would be most likely to be the ‘end’ day, when the virus has spread to the brain, the patient will suffer a brain shock before they pass away.
People’s family members are dying.
People in their ‘DIY’ protective suits made out of their clothing pieces and plastic bags are all over the street protesting for their family dying members and those who are vulnerable. The city is a complete warzone. Cars are lighted up in flame. Buildings collapsed. Window are smashed. Hammers, shovels, hoes are used for fighting against the police and attacking the government building.
In other countries around the world, racism towards Indian and Middle Eastern are becoming more serious. Terrorist groups are formed around the world, multiple attacks have occurred, mostly are towards Hindu temples and Indian society, killing thousands of people. Fire and gun shots occur in every city. The attacks have led to a ‘war’ between the Indian communities and the terrorists, turning the world into a warzone.
The streets have now become death. No more lighting. No more traffic. No more happiness. The streets are filled with homeless people, protesters, fights, blood, rubbish and death bodies that no one cleans up. Everyone is in their protective suit, since the environment is no longer safe for human. Many have died on the street, bodies could not be cleaned up and burried, they are left until decompose which create an extremely stinky smell. Cities are shut down, no more supplies, no more food, lack of clean water, some elders have been staved to death without notice, turned houses into abandoned.
